The A/K Silosheath™ is a prosthetic nylon sheath coated with the Silipos medical grade mineral oil gel. The polymer gel conditions and protects the residual limb, while absorbing shear and directional forces. The A/K Silosheath minimizes skin abrasions and breakdowns, maximizing prosthetic wear and comfort! It is constructed of 100% nylon providing optimum range of motion, as well as, enhanced comfort. The A/K Silosheath is adaptable for use with other interfaces.
